If you're thinking about travel to Mexico by riding a motorcycle, car, or RV, this Mexico motorcycle DVD book will make you smile. “Mexico Highways” is the 8^th episode in the "Burro Has 3 Wheels" DVD series, that circumnavigate the roads of North, Central and South America, a Trans America Highway in the greatest sense.

After finishing the ride to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego on the Pan American Highway the first 4 motorcycle movies in these ADV adventure rider DVD series, (1) "Mexico", (2) "Central America", (3) "Colombia / Ecuador" & (4) "Peru, Chile, Argentina" were produced.  These were followed by episodes; (5) "Alaska Prudhoe Bay Highway", (6) "Alaska to Labrador Highway" and (7) "Newfoundland to Florida Highway".

This time in episode (8) "Mexico Highways" my wife Marilyn is along as we trace all of the coastlines of Mexico. 

From Florida through the Southeastern States of Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas to Matamoros.  Then it's down the gulf coast of Mexico to the Belize border.  Heading west, we cross the Yucatan Peninsula and up the Pacific Coast eventually traversing the dangerous Northern border region of Mexico followed by Baja California ending in La Paz. 

We're riding a 2005 Ural with a sidecar. Built in Russia beginning in 1939 it’s an exact copy of the famous WW II German BMW motorcycle. 

The movie documents the reality of our travels and what we experience providing viewers a preview beyond motorcycle book formats as to what it is really like to ride many of Mexico's roads.  Topics include; Border Crossing, Police, Road Safety.   Sights include; Chichen Itza, Tulum, San Cristobal and the Copper Canyon to name a few plus local people.  You'll find useful information, tips and laughs from this motorcycle tour of Mexico.  As usual, a terrific soundtrack of Blues and Latin music is accompanied with some great laughs. 

You’ll want your mate(s) to watch.  DANGER...WARNING!  After watching this movie, you’re bound to be on your own Mexican adventure.  For now, load up the DVD player and jump into the seat of the sidecar.  Take the ride with us.

Great from the beginning clips of the road, and people along the route. Highlights: 
New Orleans -- great music and video of street tap dancers. Morgan City -- interview with a local Mexican Border Crossing -- process. Traffic stop -- how to handle "the fine". Good footage of highways and village stops and local interactions. Interesting trivia bits along the way. Helpful folks all along for when things go wrong, and they will. And good to see there are fellow bikers out there as well. Entertaining and informative.

I truly enjoyed your movie and travels through Mexico. You did and excellent job of capturing the beauty and the culture of Mexico that we enjoy and keeps us coming back to Mexico. I enjoyed Marilyn doing the Waldo thing at the beginning. Great movie I wished my wife was here to watch it with me.
