"Just finished watching the Labrador to Florida DVD and have to say that you have really come a long way. I think this is the best yet. This leads to the question of "now what"?
Gary, not only have the DVD been entertaining, but you have completely changed my perception of my Ural. No longer is it just a ride around town, run to the store bike, it is now a serious touring machine. My Goldwing is fantastic at racking up miles, but my Ural is every bit as good at racking up interesting experiences, and meeting new people. I was a jump-on-the-Wing-and-ride-really-far guy, but I now look forward to an easier, more relaxing, and as you've demonstrated, more rewarding mode of travel.
Thanks Gary, you've given me so much more than just entertainment, you've completely changed my view of riding and touring.
Hope to meet you in Daytona Beach 2008.

Goose Bay to Key West . I enjoyed the video very much.

ride just like we flew together and since we've
spoken several times and we're both pilots. Feed back, no negatives Gary,
excellent
flight my friend.
You keep getting better and better. The music! I feel like I'm having a
glass of
Crown Royal on the stool of a Jazz Bar while I'm motoring down the road. Best of
both worlds.
If you could get another Ural to accompany
you with a cameraman in
his sidecar. I'm afraid you'll hit a bump while your filming and lose your
camera
or other assets....ha ha. It would make those going away shots longer.
This in no
way detracts from your film. Of course finding someone to ride along is
the
question. Maybe when I retire someday Gar! Being a Ural wannabe I
would obviously
like to see film of you doing mtx on the bike while on the trip. I know
this is a travel film and that may detract from your
goals/purpose of the film.

I have purchased and watched several of
Gary's "films". Each was very
entertaining and helped me get through the long Wisconsin winter without being
able to ride myself. Fun for anyone owning a Ural, sidecar rig of any
brand, or
anyone who enjoys motorcycles and traveling cross country - or dreams of making
a
long trip sometime!

My wife and I enjoyed all your
movies tremendously. Your mild, innocent and
honest commentating was very cool, and we had just as much fun watching it as
you had filming and experiencing it.
Much better and more 'the real thing' than other commercialized bike travel
films
out there. (like Long Way Round etc)
